Newspaper references to Meltonby. This sale notice states there were 4 coaches a day through Pocklington from York to Hull in 1830. The capital messuage of Meltonby Hall was lived in by Mr Wilson Cross. a photograph of it appears in the Meltonby Photo Gallery section of the site.
