Pocklington Conservative Association
The society started in 1835 and carried on for many years afterwards. On 5th August 1835, to mark the inauguration, a procession started at the Feathers Inn heading to Pocklington Fair, and was accompanied by the Pocklington Band playing "Hurrah for the Bonnets of Blue".
