| Pocklington Horse and Foal Show started in 1858 and carried on to at least the first world war. It is not known when it ceased to exist, but it was a prominent annual event in the East Riding. Mr. Wm. Brown remembered 'Feathers Field' where the Horse Show was held, being where the Rugby field is today. |
