Pocklington Horse and Foal Show
Pocklington Horse and Foal Show started in 1858 and carried on to at least the first world war. It is not known when it ceased to exist, but it was a prominent annual event in the East Riding. Mr. Wm. Brown remembered 'Feathers Field' where the Horse Show was held, being where the Rugby field is today.
